On today's A Look Ahead we are joined by Will Marche, driver of the #19 from Ohsweken Speedways 602 Crate Sprint. Will, from London, Ontario will be entering into his 8th season of racing, his second driving a crate sprint car. He started racing when he was 9 years old in the Jr. C Division at Grand Bend Speedway winning 13 features that year and winning the championship in 2005. After not racing for a few years Will would return to the driver seat, this time competing in the truck division at Delaware Speedway until Covid hit in 2020. The team would pick up a crate sprint car chassis and competed in the Ontario Traditional Sprints as well as Crate Sprint Division at Ohsweken Speedway.
Heading into the 2024 season the Marche Motorsports team will be fielding two crate sprint cars to compete at Ohsweken Speedway. Will will be piloting the #19 at Ohsweken Speedway and will also be travelling to other tracks in the area as well. The other car will be driven by Craig Marche. Craig will be practicing the car at the beginning of the season before joining the crate sprint division at Ohsweken Speedway. The team is looking to continue their growth and work to improve their on track results. The Marche Motorsports team have completely rebuilt the #19 and are working at putting the finishing touches on their second car.
Of course with the upcoming season the team is looking ahead as we prepare to get back to the speedway for the first time in 2024. "The team is excited to get back to the track and race with the best crate sprint car drivers around."
