As the 2025 racing season approaches, Gary Hannah, a dedicated driver in the Peterborough Speedway Late Model division, is entering with a clear and positive mindset. With aspirations to win more races, he’s focusing on keeping a good attitude and pushing forward despite the challenges the sport often presents.

"I’m going in with a positive attitude and trying to win races," Hannah said. "The event I always look forward to the most is the ACC – it's been my favorite event of all."
Hannah, known for his determination on the track, also highlighted his toughest competitors: Ryan Kimball, Dan McHatti, and Steve Powell. Though he’s yet to surpass them, he recognizes the challenge they present. "That’s a tough fight," he explained, acknowledging the strength of his rivals.
While he’s had success at Peterborough Speedway, Hannah is looking to broaden his racing horizons and try new tracks. "I’d like to try Varney Speedway. The guys there keep telling me to come out and try it," he said. "It’s one track I haven’t been to yet, so it’s kind of on my bucket list."

Reflecting on his progress from 2024 to 2025, Hannah feels confident about the direction his team is heading. "We were finding more speed with the car as the 2024 season went on, but we had a few hiccups along the way. However, we were able to get by that, so that’s going to help us this year."
Looking ahead, Hannah is thankful for the continued support of his sponsors: C Patterson Equipment Repair, Napa Pine Ridge Oshawa, Harsco, and Ducks Automotive Peterborough, whose contributions help make his racing dreams a reality.
With a season full of potential ahead, all eyes will be on Gary Hannah as he strives to take his racing career to new heights in 2025.
