'Twas the week before Christmas and all the drivers ready for their new racing gifts. It was time to go racing for Santa's sake! This week the trio or Ignite Racing Leagues put on some great racing. Let's get into it!
It all kicked off this week with the JP Alfonso GT3 class taking on the Charlotte Roval. The front row consisted of Juan Salzar in the #1 and Daniel Ott in the #62. On the drop of the green flag the field would dive off into turn one with Salzar taking the advantage of being on the inside. Kyle Edgar would lose the ground on the start going for a spin coming to the green. During the first lap couple of laps the field would settle in. The top 5 would start breaking away from the pack single file. Divenanzo would get passed by Ott for second place. 8 minutes into the 60 minute race disaster would struck for last weeks winner as Schliemann would hit the outside front stretch wall. Schliemann would go down pit road and use is fast repair. With 22 minutes left the caution would come out and bunch up the field allowing everyone to get fuel and tires. As time would expire it would be Juan Salzar taking home the win. In the closing turns the battle would be for second between Divenanzo and Alfonso. The two would making contact through the final two corners with Alfonso getting the better of it crossing the line in second with Divenanzo coming home third.

Next race up for the Street Stocks will be January 4th, 2023 at Myrtle Beach Speedway.
Final race of the week would be the Hot Rod Setup Cup Series at the famed Talladega Super Speedway. 45 laps the distance with the #43 of Johnathon Platt grabbing the pole over Juan Salzar. From the drop of the green flag the field was moving around with different leaders. Platt, Lapcevich and Dixon all making their way to the point. The field would come down around lap 29/30 to make their pit stops to get ready for a mad dash to the end. With 10 laps to go the caution would come out for a spin on the back stretch. Justin Knapp would go around after making contact with the #4 of Quinton. The field would go green with 6 laps to go but the caution would come out once again after contact would send the #4 of Connor James around at the exit of turn 2. After a late race caution the field was set for a green-white-checkered. Lapcevich would take the lead with Platt pushing him keeping him out front but after being moved up the track when all hell broke loose for the field. Positions changing and alliances diminishing. Kyle Edgar would get a full head of steam on the outside and would make a run for the lead taking over the top spot going into three with #12 of Showler. Coming through the tri-oval Showler would move down to block the run from Platt but the #12 machine would go spinning through the infield. At the checkered it was the #47 of Kyle Edgar bringing home the victory with Johnathon Platt (#43) and Treyten Lapcevich (#20) rounding out the podium.
