Welcome to the first race recap for the Ignite Racing League. JoMo Media has teamed up with Ignite Racing to bring you more coverage of their iRacing venture. Each Saturday you we will have race recap from the JP Alfonzo Studios GT3, Hot Rod Setups Cup Series and their newest venture with the JoMo Media Street Stock Series. The GT3 and the Cup Series are both televised LIVE through Maconi Entertainment. Ignite Racing Series uploads the GT3 and Cup races to their own YouTube channel within the day.
On Monday the JP Alfonzo Studios GT3 race travelled to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for race #5 of their season. 60 minute enduro race with 2 mandatory pit stops with one of them being for tires. Giancarlo Schliemann and Juan Salazar would lead the field to green. When the 60 minutes were up it was the #10 of Giancarlo Schliemann finishing top spot on the podium. JP Alfonzo finishing second and Keri Cantera rounding out the top 3. Next race up for the JP Alfonzo GT3 series goes December 12, 2022 at Long Beach Street Circuit.

On Wednesday it was the first race for the JoMo Media Street Stock Series. 22 drivers would start for the first race at the L.A Coliseum. The event consisted of qualifying laps with a 50 lap feature race. Connor James and Carson Nagy would lead the field for the inaugural race. When the checkered flag flew it was Connor James taking home the first victory for the JoMo Media Street Stocks. Next race for the series goes Dec 14, 2022 at Hickory Motor Speedway.
The final race of the week was the Hot Rod Setup Cup Series. This series took their talents to Watkins Glen International Raceway for a 30 lap shootout. The teams would have to make one mandatory pit stop for fuel. At the start of their race it would be Kyle Edgar and Connor James who would be lead the field to green. On lap 18 their would be a huge shakeup on the restart as Edgar who dominated the first half of the race would be involved in an accident taking him out of contention for the win. Daniel Ott would snake his way through carnage to take over the top spot. Daniel would be able to stay there at lap 30 with Treyten Lapcevich who was gaining ground just couldn't get there in time. Daniel Ott would go to victory lane. Treyten Lapcevich would finish second and Connor James would round out the podium. Next race up for the Hot Rod Setup Cup Series will be December 15, 2022 at the Michigan International Speedway.
