The 2024 season didn't start the way the driver of the 43 Oakville Trailers '34 Ford Coupe in the Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds thought it would. At the start of the season Jae had been involved in a couple of wrecks leading to some repairs that neither the driver nor team was looking to have early on in the season. After a particular early season wreck the third year driver got his car all fixed up and sent off to Darren Dryden of DJD Graphics for a refresh of his wrap on his car. going from a green to a blue the change has brought good fortune for Jae as on July 13th he would lead 18 of the 20 laps before getting loose and passed placing fourth. Great rebound for the driver and team as they continue to make adjustments to continue marching forward.
Jae is searching for that first win of the season and is looking to pick it up as early as July 27th at Flamboro Speedway. With a drive and determination that has been unmatched in seasons past. The 43 Oakville Trailers, Sherwin-Williams, Racin' Stuff Ford has shown much better speed and with six race days left in the season to get it done no doubt we will see the 43 in victory lane before the 2024 season is out. Follow JTM Racing on Facebook to stay up to date on Jae and the 43 team. Next race up is July 27th at Flamboro Speedway. Gates open 5:00pm, green flag flies at 6:30pm.
