It is that wonderful time of the year where the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo brings out car enthusiasts far and wide to the Toronto International Centre. This year the show runs March 8-10 and once again will feature the best of classic cars, tuners, pick up trucks, monster trucks and of course race vehicles.
This year is sure to be a fantastic show as there a lot of stock cars being unveiled at the show. With that being said we have entered a JoMo Media driver into the racer corral for this years show. Mike Thomson will be unveiling his throwback scheme he will run in the mini stock division at Flamboro Speedway. There is still time to guess which throwback scheme he chose for your chance to enter a pair of pit passes this upcoming season. Click Here to take your guess! We are thankful to have Mike and his team at the show and we are excited to see how well the throwback scheme looks on his For Mustang.
At this year's Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo the organizers have put together a media booth featuring your favourite racing podcasts. From the Stickers N' Scuffs Podcast, The Feeney Call, The Wide World Of Motorsports and the True North Racing Podcast we will all be working in one area to promote our shows and talk to drivers, fans and anyone looking to get info about our programs. This idea stemmed from a conversation between Brandon and Jon over a year ago, then just one year ago between Jon and CamK, but it was Cam K from the Stickers N' Scuffs Podcast who got the ball rolling reaching out to the organizers to work out where we could go to create content with drivers, chat with people about our shows and as well as a spot to go and just relax for a few minutes. We asked Cam what he is excited about for the upcoming show? " I am most excited to reunite with the racing community. It's a long offseason, too long, can't deny that seeing race cars is a huge excitement." Said Cam K.
All weekend long you can catch Stickers N' Scuffs, The Wide World of Motorsports and the True North Racing Podcast record live episodes of the show in the Gulf Race Fuels Racing Zone presented by Stoneridge Specialty Insurance. When asked about the upcoming shows Jon had this to say, " I am excited to get back on the stage after not doing a live show last year. They are a lot of fun to do and I can't wait to hang out with the other media members and work together on projects."
Throughout the weekend Jon, Megan and Brandon will be on hand to talk racing, podcast and JoMo Media. Jon will be on hand all three days, Brandon Feeney will join us Friday and Saturday and Megan will join us on Saturday. It is sure to be a fun weekend and we hope to see you at the show.
Boneyard Event Services is sponsoring the booth and we can't thank them enough for coming on board to give us a space for media members to come and network and chat with other media personnel as well as drivers, fans and show goers who are curious about our programs.
