As the 2025 racing season approaches, Kody Cook is gearing up for a full-time campaign in Sauble Speedway’s Bone Stock division with a freshly rebuilt 1988 Honda CRX hatchback. With the offseason winding down, Cook is eager to hit the track and chase his racing goals for the year.

Plans for the 2025 Season
For Cook, the primary goal heading into 2025 is to secure a few heat wins and perhaps even capture a feature race victory. “My main goal this year is to finish the season with a couple heat wins and maybe a feature or two,” Cook said, expressing confidence in his new setup and the lessons learned in the past few years.
Looking Ahead to the Season Opener
One event Cook is particularly excited about is the season opener on May 17, which will feature the Dash 4 Cash. “I’m really looking forward to the season opener, Dash 4 Cash on May 17,” he noted, highlighting the excitement of kicking off the season with one of the biggest races of the year.

Tough Competitors Await
While Cook is focused on his own performance, he knows the competition at Sauble Speedway is fierce. “Sauble has a ton of great racers, and they are all going to be tough to beat in 2025,” he acknowledged, recognizing the level of talent in the Bone Stock class.
Exploring New Tracks
In addition to Sauble, Cook is looking forward to testing his skills at other tracks this year, particularly Sunset Speedway, Flamboro, and possibly Peterborough in October. “I am really looking forward to trying out Sunset Speedway at some point this year! As well as Flamboro and maybe even Peterborough in October if the season goes okay!” Cook said, eager to expand his racing horizons.

Taking Lessons from 2024
Reflecting on the lessons learned in 2024, Cook feels prepared to improve in 2025. “As a team, we've learned a lot about Hondas in the past couple of years, and we are going to prove that this year with our new car!” Cook stated. He’s also been watching his competitors closely and learning their driving styles, which he believes will help him refine his own approach. “I’ve spent a lot of time watching my competitors and learning their driving styles. I’m going to try some new things this year to say the least,” he added.

Sponsors and Support
Cook is thankful for the support he has received from his sponsors heading into the 2025 season. Returning sponsors include Wark Service Centre, Sunrise Café, and Ideal Fire Suppression Systems. “A big special thanks to Cook Motorsports, Stickers N’ Scuffs Podcast, and of course JoMo Media,” Cook expressed. With these partnerships in place, Cook is ready to take on the challenges of the season and aim for success on the track.
As the 2025 racing season approaches, Kody Cook is determined to make his mark in the Bone Stock class at Sauble Speedway. With a new car, a renewed focus, and a strong team behind him, it’s sure to be an exciting year for the young driver.
