As the sun sets on the 2022 season I would personally like to take a minute and thank all the amazing drivers on a successful season. It was amazing to watch all you men and ladies drive your butts off week in and week out. I know it was tough for some of you. Fighting motor gremlins, changing cars, not enough time. You all did amazing work and pushed through the challenges seasons bring.
2022 saw 29 cars feature JoMo Media stickers with roughly 32 drivers racing in those 29 cars. From dirt tracks to asphalt JoMo Media was well represented. Throughout the 2022 season JoMo Media wound up in victory lane an amazing 37 times with Jo Lawrence leading the way with 8 victories in his Bone Stock with 6 wins at Delaware Speedway and 2 wins at Flamboro Speedway. Jo would also go on to win the Bone Stock Championship at Delaware Speedway. Ricky Willigar would finish the season with 7 wins in his Canadian Vintage Modified at Flamboro Speedway. Joining them at the top of our leaderboard is the 2022 Rookie Of the Year in the Pure Stocks at Flamboro Speedway, Cam " The Hack" Thomson. Cam would also finish the season with 7 wins.
Also, in 2022 we saw some drivers collect some nice hardware picking up their first career wins. Alex Stewart would not only win one feature but collected two feature wins in the Pure Stock division at Flamboro Speedway in 2022. Rick Mitchell after spending years away from behind the wheel would get the victory in the Pure Stocks on a technicality but a win is a win. Kaitlyn Wallace would dominate her feature to grab her first career win in the Mini Stocks. Brandon Feeney Would grab his first career Super Stock win at Peterborough Speedway. Ty Cavallin would pick up his first career victory in the Pro Late Models at Flamboro Speedway.
