Welcome to Episode 138 of the True North Racing Podcast. This week in the Pep's Pro Painting Opening Segment Jon talked about his weekend at Flamboro Speedway, where we saw Mother Nature win again but luckily with it being the APC Late Model weekend the action got moved to Sunday. Unfortunately, Jon was unable to make the Sunday portion of the program. Jon also talked about gathering a couple of Pure Stock drivers and trekking across the track to the grandstand and handed out hero cards at the bottom of the grandstands to anyone who wanted one. Kids and adults came and stopped by and chatted with the drivers.
It was time to dive into GraphInk Design Studio Guest Segment with this weeks guest Jonathon Howe. Jonathon is the voice of Merrittville Speedway, calling all the action every Saturday night at the 3/8 mile oval located in Thorold, Ontario. Not only is Jonathon the voice of Merrittville but is also the host of the Southern Ontario Dirt Show podcast. We talked to Jonathon about what has been going on at Merrittville with having to cancel the races due to fog a couple of weeks ago. How the weather has been for the track, seeing new winners. It's been action packed. year so far the track.
