True North Racing Podcast With Tim Tolton!

After a week off because of our trip to Motorama Jon and Brandon are back in the saddle. After 71/2 and a half shows you would think they would be tired and exhausted. Well, you guessed right. Before we got into this weeks episode Jon opened up to announce the True North Racing Podcast along with The Drivers Seat and Racing Through Canada's Past will not continue past 2025. It is sad news indeed but Jon has assured us that this year will go out with a bang!

Onto this weeks episode where Jon and Brandon talked about their time at Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo with 71/2 shows and the second podcaster slot car car. The duo reminisce about the weekend as they continue to build to be ready for the 2025 season. This week on the program we were joined by Ontario Sportsman Series driver and Full Throttle Motor Speedway race director Mr. Tim Tolton. We got to learn about how Tim got involved in racing by going with his grandma to Flamboro. Then not going again till his brother was a mobile welder at the track. In 1984, Tim would take a Cadillac Coupe Deville and compete in enduros at Flamboro. We learned about his transition from the enduros to competing in late models and eventually into the Ontario Sportsman Series. Tim is filled with lots of great stories that you'll be in for a treat.
