Wilds Printing Racer Recap June 7-9

Man oh man is Mother Nature testing us as of late. This past weekend teams, fans, owners were likely very frustrated with the weekends results. Friday night Delaware Speedway got the 75 lap Late Model race started but only able to run 12 laps before the rain came in washing out the nights action. Sauble had to postpone their opening night to June 15th. Flamboro Speedway ran one feature for the pure stocks and heat races for the Can-Am Midgets and one set of qualifying before the rain came and washed out the days action having to move the rest of the races to Sunday. Sunset Speedway rained out with two features remaining. Merrittville had to cancel after their second feature as well. Mother Nature needs to rain on week days and let us play on the weekend. Friday, June 7th

Delaware Speedway

Super Stocks - 50 Lapper

#14 Cody Wilds finished P.4 in his heat race and led a few laps before finishing 12th in 50 lap feature.

Ohsweken Speedway

Mini Stocks

#228 Kris Lawrence finished 14th in heat race and fourth in the B-Main to transfer to the big show where he finished 24th.

Crate Sprints

#28T Cam Thomson finished 5th in his heat race and qualified for the A-Main on the night where Cam would finish P.23.

Saturday, June 8th

#41 Corey Halbert finished P.5 in his heat race and would transfer to the A-Main where he finished 4th after starting 10th.

Well, thought Mother Nature won most of the weekend we did capitalize the best we can for a great showing. Hope this weather can start holding off to have solid nights of racing.
